Washington D.C.'s South Mall is destined to get a lot more ski slopey. Bjarke Ingel Group released their plans for the makeover to the South Mall, including the Smithsonian buildings and the Mall-facing entrances of the National Museum of African Art and the Arthur M Sackler Gallery. The project, projected to take 10-20 years, will be the biggest makeover in over a century.
